Straightforward tonal correction

Independent controls

Brightness and contrast can be increased or reduced separately.

Real pixel edit

The downloaded file contains the applied correction, not just a browser preview filter.

Private local workflow

The correction runs on your device without sending the image to a server.

Brightness and contrast questions

What is the difference between brightness and contrast?
Brightness shifts the image's overall lightness. Contrast increases or reduces the difference between darker and lighter pixels.
Can this recover clipped highlights or black shadows?
No. It can rebalance visible pixel values, but detail that was not captured in the source image cannot be restored.
Are the adjustments applied to the downloaded image?
Yes. The tool changes the pixel data before it creates the downloadable result.
